Local Westerners. National Strength.

Across the Western United States, industrial warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and data centers continue to reshape local economies. Fueled by strategic locations, expanding infrastructure, and sustained investment, the region has become one of the nation’s most active construction markets.

Growth at this pace creates tremendous opportunity—but it also increases risk. Compressed schedules, labor shortages, coordination challenges, and rising customer expectations leave little margin for error. Success depends on partners that execute consistently, communicate proactively, and inspire confidence every step of the way.

That’s why Graydaze Contracting continues to invest in the West.

From its western headquarters in Salt Lake City, Graydaze supports customers across the Western United States with one simple objective: make every project easier. By combining local relationships with the resources, systems, and experience of a national contractor, the company delivers what today’s customers value most: Speed. Quality. Expertise.

“The West doesn’t need another contractor—it needs a partner that’s local, easy to work with, and committed to delivering speed, quality, and expertise on every project. That’s exactly why we’re here,” said Alec Kinard, CEO of Graydaze Contracting.

Unlike companies that simply manage western projects from outside the region, Graydaze has built a true regional headquarters. The Salt Lake City office brings together regional leadership, estimating, operations, and dedicated business units that empower local decision-making while leveraging the strength and resources of a national organization. Customers work with professionals who understand regional construction practices, climate considerations, and the priorities of western developers, contractors, and property owners—without sacrificing the consistency, capabilities, and support of a nationwide partner.

At the heart of Graydaze’s western headquarters is a leadership team that enables decisions closest to the customer. Lucas Redd, Director of Operations, oversees project execution across the region, while Peter Ledger, Director of Sales & Estimating, leads customer relationships, and estimating. Together, they provide the local leadership that enables Graydaze to combine regional responsiveness with the strength and resources of a national organization.

That commitment is delivered through three specialized teams that support customers throughout the lifecycle of their facilities.

West New Construction delivers architectural painting and high-performance sealants for industrial warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities.

DataCoat is Graydaze’s dedicated data center division, providing specialized painting and sealant solutions exclusively for mission-critical facilities.

Commercial Repaint Division helps owners protect and extend the life of commercial and industrial properties through planned maintenance, repainting, and restoration services.

While each team serves different customer needs, they all operate with the same philosophy: make the customer experience simple.

Graydaze believes customers shouldn’t have to coordinate multiple specialty contractors, chase project updates, or wonder whether commitments will be met. Every engagement is built around clear communication, dependable scheduling, proactive problem-solving, and a team that takes ownership from preconstruction through project completion. By serving as a single-source partner for painting and sealants, Graydaze removes complexity, reduces risk, and helps customers stay focused on the countless other priorities required to deliver a successful project.

That philosophy reflects a broader belief that the best partnerships are built with people—not just projects. As the nation’s largest 100% employee-owned painting contractor, every customer works directly with employee-owners who are personally invested in delivering exceptional results. The goal isn’t simply to complete another project; it’s to become the trusted partner customers rely on throughout the life of their facilities.

As investment across the Western United States continues to accelerate, Graydaze views its Salt Lake City headquarters as more than an office. It represents a long-term commitment to the region, its customers, and the communities where its employees live and work.

Customers throughout the West can expect the same experience: local decision-making, national strength, and a partner committed to making complex projects easier through Speed. Quality. Expertise.
