Graydaze Contracting is sharpening its focus on one of construction’s fastest-growing niches: data centers. The national specialty contractor has spent more than a decade painting and sealing these complex facilities, and its new DataCoat division is designed to do that work exclusively.
The move comes as AI and digital infrastructure keep fueling demand for new server campuses nationwide. Graydaze says the specialized team lets it stay focused on the unique demands of mission-critical projects, from tight schedules to technically demanding buildouts.
It’s also a sign of how specialty trades are repositioning themselves to capture more work in the data center boom. With Texas and other Sun Belt markets still attracting major investment, Graydaze is aiming to turn deep project experience into a bigger national platform. See Bisnow article here.
